Description

A diminutive relative of the Blackberry. The Cloudberry is restricted to hilly areas in Scotland, Northern England and North Wales.

Height: 10 - 15cm

Leaves: Shiny, broad lobed leaves with a finely toothed edge.

Flowers: 5-petalled white flowers

Stems: A slight small plant. Thin green / red-tinged stems with fine spines.

Fruit: A single orange fruit, with around 20 drupelets, is held on an upright stalk above the leaves.
